Privacy notice
Last updated 2 October 2026
This notice covers this website, clickfall.co.uk. It explains what we collect when you visit, why, how long we keep it, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
Clickfall is the controller of the data described here. [Legal name and registered address of the company running Clickfall: to confirm before launch.] You can reach us at hello@clickfall.co.uk.
Counting your visit
We count visits to this site with Clickfall itself, to see which pages people use and where they came from. In the UK, counting for statistics about your own site doesn't need your consent, provided nothing identifying is kept and you can opt out. That's how this works.
When you open a page, our tracker keeps a random number in your browser tab's session storage, plus where you came from. Both disappear when you close the tab. With each page view it sends us:
- the page address, with anything after a question mark removed
- the website that sent you, as a host name only (for example, google.com)
- campaign tags in the link you followed (source, medium, campaign, content)
- the first page you landed on
- whether you're on a phone or a computer, worked out from your browser and then thrown away
- your country, from our hosting provider
It also notes a few things about how the page behaves for people: rage clicks and clicks that do nothing (which element, never its text), when a form is started, sent or abandoned (which field, never what you typed), how far down you scrolled, and the host name of any link that takes you to another site.
What we never keep from counting: your IP address, your browser's full identity string, the random number itself, or anything you type. Before anything is stored, the random number is replaced by a one-way scramble that changes every day, so two visits on different days can't be linked, even by us.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how our own site is used. Individual events are kept for 90 days; daily totals, which contain nothing about anyone, are kept for as long as the site runs.
Opting out
You can turn counting off for this browser below. It sets one cookie, optout, which tells our tracker to send nothing and tells our server to ignore anything it receives. It lasts 5 years, or until you turn counting back on or clear your cookies.

Founding-client applications
If you apply for a founding slot, we keep what you send: your name, work email, company and ad spend band, with the time you sent it. We use it only to reply and to talk to you about the founding programme. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract. We keep it while we're talking to you, and delete it if you ask, or if nothing comes of it. It is stored in a database located in the EU.
Who else handles it
Cloudflare hosts this site and runs Clickfall's servers and databases for us, as our processor. It may process your IP address briefly to deliver pages and keep the site secure. We don't sell your data, and nothing from this site is sent to any advertising platform.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@clickfall.co.uk. Counting data holds nothing that identifies you, so there is usually nothing we could find or return. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, tell us first; you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
